July’s Coffee Club is here and this month it is going to be a smaller & more intimate event held in the Snug Bar at The Parklands Hotel.
I’m delighted to be joined by Amanda Wu, a local psychotherapeutic counsellor & founder of Kind Mind Therapy.
Becoming a mum, whether it is your first, second, third or more is life changing and that change can be tough on our mental health. For this Coffee Club Amanda will be focusing on postnatal anxiety & intrusive thoughts and providing us with information & tips on how to manage it. We will also touch on general tips on overall emotional well-being.
A little bit about Amanda: “Amanda Wu is a local psychotherapeutic counsellor & founder of Kind Mind Therapy. She is also mum to two beautiful girls, so the mental health journey in motherhood is an area she is passionate about. She has over 10 years of experience in mental health roles, & 6 years' experience as a psychotherapist. Amanda works with children, teens & adults & covers a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, addictions, ASD, ADHD & many more. Amanda absolutely loves her job & is extremely passionate about raising awareness of mental health issues, particularly post-partum related issues. Amanda is keen to share proactive tips & techniques to help parents protect their mental wellbeing.”

Come with bump or baby, come alone or with friends - You can all sit with us.
You also do not need to live in East Ren to attend.
Pram space is limited, if it is possible to leave at home/in the car it would be much appreciated. We will have a space for them to be collapsed and stored during brunch.

We will have a photographer in attendance to capture the morning. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let them know when you arrive. Photographs may be used for promotional purposes.
