A spooky watch for October. Starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler from the original film. “The live-action comedy ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ is a haunting sequel to the 1993 Halloween cult classic which brings back the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters for comedic mayhem. It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now, it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallows Eve.”

The White Lotus (Season 2) – Sky Atlantic (30th October)

If you haven’t watched the first season of The White Lotus then we would highly recommend it. It’s a black comedy-drama written and directed by Mike White. Season 2 is set in Sicily at the fictional White Lotus resort and follows the lives of the staff and guests over the course of a week. The first season was a commercial and critical success – it received over 20 Emmy nominations! It features an ensemble cast but the standout performance again is by Jennifer Coolidge! The plot twists and turns and explores sex, class, money, drugs, and death. The dialogue is incredibly witty and cutting, the characters are brilliantly layered, and it is completely hilarious! We loved it!
