The film follows Alice (Pugh) a 1950s housewife who lives with her husband Jack (Styles), in a utopian experimental community. They are taking part in the Victory Project. “Life is perfect, with every residents needs met by the company. All they ask in return is discretion and unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause.
