Here at TMC, we know that getting out of the house with little ones isn’t always easy, but you can’t underestimate the power of some fresh air and chats with likeminded women to make you feel fabulous. We are so lucky to live amongst some amazing Surrey countryside and bluebells season is one of my favourites!

Join us for a stunning walk on the Gatton Circular Path which is 3.5km and should take 1.5hr to walk. I expect the whole event to be just over 2.5 hours as we will stop for breaks for little ones that need feeding and will go at a pace that works for everyone!

We will set off at 10am from Junction 8 cafe on Reigate hill, at the halfway point we will stop for a 30/45 minute break to enjoy a sweet treat and as Bluebells season is stunning at Gatton I’ve arranged the incredibly talented Lucy from @brightfox_photography to join us.

She will capture us as we walk, so you will get some lovely pictures of you and baby enjoying yourself and making some new friends.

Lucy will also be offering a free mini bluebells photoshoot during our break. Lucy will not be charging us for the shoot itself and she’s offering TMC a discount of £10 per photo or £40 for 5 !! So you can have the shoot, purchase the pictures you like but you aren’t obligated to buy any.

We will then finish the walk and head back to the starting point.

Please note- This walk is possible with a buggy but please think carefully as it isn’t an easy walk and you should only do it if you are used to walks like this or have a three wheel buggy for harder terrain. I have done this walk with a buggy… it’s possible but a bit of a workout. You know where you are in your postpartum recovery but I would suggest you only attend if you have been signed off at you 6 week GP checkup. Most of the route follows stone tracks but the sections of path through woodland can be muddy particularly in wet weather so please wear shoes you are able to walk comfortably in. The walk has a couple of steep sections but there are no stiles, steps or kissing gates on route (but you will need to negotiate some staggered barrier gaps alongside vehicle gates which are approximately 1 metre wide but have tight corners). We suggest bringing a small blanket to sit on during our rest stop

- An opportunity to meet some lovely new mum mates

Obviously, we can’t guarantee a dry day, but we will aim to go ahead in whatever the weather.
