A luxury family hotel in the New Forest with spa, playground and outside pool. Suitable for for kids, dogs and adults. The spa is also child-friendly and has the Little ishga programme which offers mini treatments to children as young as 3 years old using their organic ishga products, which are perfect for young sensitive skin, making it one of the most family friendly spas around. Overall Thoughts “I’ve never re-booked a hotel while I’m still staying there. I felt so comfortable and loved every second. We’ve stayed at another Luxury Family Hotel before (The Ickworth), and while we loved it, we felt it needed an update. New Park Manor has the same parent-pleasing vibes, with 2 hours of free childcare a day in their brilliant creche, but they also have beautiful, updated interiors and high-spec facilities, including a new spa, cinema and games room and exquisite food. The kid’s menu is brilliant, and the family restaurant made us feel so at ease, with various games to entertain the children. And of course, there’s an adult’s restaurant too, which is a little hard to get to with most rooms sleeping you and the children in one place. But we made it there on night two (baby monitor in hand), and it was so lovely to have a date night without the faff of organising a sitter.” Other Highlights… “The playground outside is so fantastic, and there’s also a heated outdoor pool that I imagine will be packed on summer days. Horses roam in the nearby fields, and the surrounding New Forest offers ample adventure all year round. They leave little teddies on the kids’ beds that you can keep and each night free cookies and milk are put out. Plus, there are movie nights with popcorn in the games room. Dyson hairdryers in the rooms, Bramley beauty products, high-tech speakers and the coolest kettle (sounds niche but trust me, it was). Cots feel like a given in a hotel like this, but you can also borrow baby monitors, and Yoto players and toilets have mats and wipes for you to use. The children loved everything, and the kids club was a complete hit.” The Kids Club Freddie with the teddies left on their beds The swish kid-friendly living room Any Downsides? “It’s pretty expensive. But considering what you get and the quality of the rooms and facilities, it is expected. There’s a two-night minimum stay at the weekend, which is unfortunate as I’d love to return on my own with the kids when my husband is away, but sadly, the cost would be too hard to justify. We also found that some spa members weren’t overly keen on us being in there with our kids, but the hotel said they explain that it is a family hotel to spa guests. However, they may look into family and adult-only swim times to avoid this.” How to Book New Park Manor, The New Forest Nestled in the heart of The New Forest, this enchanting hideaway is a paradise for nature lovers. Follow woodland trails and spot resident deer and ponies or do so from the comfort of the spa.
