Our other table’s varnished top has started to wear. So, I was looking for a better-made table that would last longer. The fact that you can switch the top so easily is brilliant. My eldest even does it himself and loves building Duplo and drawing on the board. We’ve started using it for mealtimes, so I need to invest in the silicone top, but unlike the cheaper product we had before, it’s great to know that elements can be easily replaced if something is damaged. It’s quite an expensive item, but I love that it can be adjusted and adapted as they grow, and it looks stylish, so I’m happy for this one to stick around. Is it good value? It’s undoubtedly expensive, but as with all well-made furniture, you get what you pay for. Stokke also often has sales or clear-outs on accessories that fit the Mu Table, so it’s worth watching for them as you can get a bargain. Would you recommend it? Absolutely. I was hesitant over the price, but now that we have it in our home, it makes sense to me as it can be used for many things, and we’re already planning which new accessories to add as Christmas or Birthday presents.
